Thank you for being here and honoring Ethan’s memory ❤️

Ethan’s time with us here on Earth ended on June 8, 2022, at just 14 years old, but his spirit continues on with us through our hearts and in our memories. His bench stands as a living tribute to him, offering a space for reflection, connection, and remembrance.

May his bench bring joy and connection the way that Ethan always did. Let it be a space where you can connect with his memory, with yourself and others, and with nature. Thank you for enjoying and respecting this beautiful spot that honors him, in a place that brought him so much joy.

Whether you knew Ethan personally or not, we invite you to share a part of your experience here. Please use the guest book to share a photo or memory, leave a positive message, or offer a kind word in memory of him. Every contribution is a beautiful part of keeping his legacy alive.

I brought your soon-to-be new uncle for a visit. We talked about you, we laughed, we cried.
I really think you’d love him. He thinks it’s hilarious that you called me translucent…because surprise surprise, I still am.

I love you Beef Taco. I miss you everyday.

I had the pleasure of seeing Amanda and her daughter leaving a picture and flowers on Ethan’s bench on the anniversary of his passing. I don’t think I’ve seen any of you guys since the service so it was definitely a mix of emotions, but I felt grateful to give Amanda a big hug that seemed to clear up the peaks and valleys that was going through thinking about it

I am a high school teacher in Baseball Coach at San Pasqual and we just had our high school graduation yesterday which is when I got hit again emotionally because I thought to myself will shoot. Carter Tsai was a senior this year which means that this would have been the year that Ethan would have been graduating from high school.

After a couple of hours of Hitting Lessons this morning I took about 30 minutes to hang out with Ethan at his bench, which is how I stumbled across this QR code. I’m not sure who gets to see these messages but I definitely hope that Ethan‘s mom and dad and siblings see this And find comfort in knowing that he is still often thought about and missed, but also never forgotten and not just by you guys. If you ever need anything at all, you have my email and if you reach out soon, I would be happy to reply with my phone number, so you can have it as well if you guys ever need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Once you are one of my guys, you’ll always be one of my guys in the same as true for Ethan

Enjoying a beautiful Saturday afternoon baseball practice on the bench.  Saddened to learn of Beefy’s passing but encouraged by the outpouring of support from his family and friends.  I have no doubt that his legacy will help others that are going through tough times.

    beefy,

In a time where I felt out of place and sad, I sat on your bench with my kids. My son immediately pointed to the picture of you playing baseball. After seeing your bright smile and reading about you, I felt a sense of peace. Thank you Beefy for the reminder! I’ll be back to visit your bench soon 🤎

I can’t believe it has been 3 years today. We miss you every single day. It has been a hard day for all of us. I went to your bench today to tell you how much you are missed. The Mavericks were playing in front of me. I felt your presence.
A  darling girl was sitting on your bench. I assume missing you too. As we passed each other she told me she was thinking about our family.
Your Auntie Hanna had one of your favorite treats delivered to our house this morning  LOL you know you would have been the first one in the box. We miss you always and love you more💗

Miss you, E. Three years today since I’ve seen your smile and heard your laugh. Seems like a lifetime and also no time at all. Grateful for all the joy that you brought to my life, and that you bring still when I can clear a little space for it alongside the pain. Thank you for helping me to hold it all. I love you, Beefy. XOXO Mom

Beefy, I miss you so incredibly much. I so wish you were experiencing all the fun and adventures of life. Because you can’t, I carry you with me every day in my heart, on my arm, and often times in what I wear… I keep you nearby with so many mementos and in doing things you’d enjoy… I cherish my memories of and with you. Love you forever, sweet boy. ❤️
