Thank you for being here and honoring Ethan’s memory ❤️

Ethan’s time with us here on Earth ended on June 8, 2022, at just 14 years old, but his spirit continues on with us through our hearts and in our memories. His bench stands as a living tribute to him, offering a space for reflection, connection, and remembrance.

May his bench bring joy and connection the way that Ethan always did. Let it be a space where you can connect with his memory, with yourself and others, and with nature. Thank you for enjoying and respecting this beautiful spot that honors him, in a place that brought him so much joy.

Whether you knew Ethan personally or not, we invite you to share a part of your experience here. Please use the guest book to share a photo or memory, leave a positive message, or offer a kind word in memory of him. Every contribution is a beautiful part of keeping his legacy alive.

As we continue to honor Beef’s memory, we will also build resources here to raise awareness around suicide prevention and teenage mental health. If you would like to get involved, please reach out.

    beefy,

In a time where I felt out of place and sad, I sat on your bench with my kids. My son immediately pointed to the picture of you playing baseball. After seeing your bright smile and reading about you, I felt a sense of peace. Thank you Beefy for the reminder! I’ll be back to visit your bench soon 🤎

Beautiful day in the California sun missing you, Beefy … enjoyed this bit of sun touching the candy I brought to share. Love you so 💖❤️‍🩹

I can’t believe it has been 3 years today. We miss you every single day. It has been a hard day for all of us. I went to your bench today to tell you how much you are missed. The Mavericks were playing in front of me. I felt your presence.
A  darling girl was sitting on your bench. I assume missing you too. As we passed each other she told me she was thinking about our family.
Your Auntie Hanna had one of your favorite treats delivered to our house this morning  LOL you know you would have been the first one in the box. We miss you always and love you more💗

Miss you, E. Three years today since I’ve seen your smile and heard your laugh. Seems like a lifetime and also no time at all. Grateful for all the joy that you brought to my life, and that you bring still when I can clear a little space for it alongside the pain. Thank you for helping me to hold it all. I love you, Beefy. XOXO Mom

Beefy, I miss you so incredibly much. I so wish you were experiencing all the fun and adventures of life. Because you can’t, I carry you with me every day in my heart, on my arm, and often times in what I wear… I keep you nearby with so many mementos and in doing things you’d enjoy… I cherish my memories of and with you. Love you forever, sweet boy. ❤️

Beef, your second baseball tourney was pretty rad. We got a little rain in the morning, but we all knew that was just you saying hi. Was great to see all your friends and family. I’m sure you saw them too…

  • Christian, Tracy, Garrett, Liam and Declan Kelly

Declan and pops went for a fun bike ride and end up hanging out with Beef at Alga Norte. We miss you Beef and know your always with us. Feels extra comforting when we are at Alga and able feel your presence. Looking forward to our next hang out man!

Beef, saw your mom tonight and can see so much of you in her face.  It made me smile. We are doing our second Bases for Beef baseball tourney next weekend. Hope to continue to make a positive impact on a few young ball players, like you had on all of us.  Send us some good weather, dude.

    Beefy 💗
I think of you every day. I miss the sound of your feet coming quickly down the stairs saying “Good Morning” Grandma. I can still hear the cupboard opening and you grabbing what you called lunch. You would peek through the opening between the kitchen and the family room….That sweet impish grin telling me it was more sweet snacks than healthy lunch. Oh! how you loved your sweets! It’s been almost 3 years .Our family is not the same without you. We miss everything that stood for. Our sweet, kind, playful boy. I hope you are flying around those bases and sliding to home plate. I know you are.🩷 Run free Beef. Love you always 🩷

You were missed today, Beefy. We went to the beach and had a nice lunch. You would’ve loved it. We sat in the sun and collected shells and your pelican showed up as we left. It’s not the same without you. We love and miss you.
